About us
The Association of Central Markham Residents (ACMR) is a not for profit organization of concerned citizens living in the City of Markham. Our boundaries are Woodbine Ave to the west, Markham Road to the east, 19th Ave to the north and Hwy 407 to the south.
Markham has been thriving with many new developments coming to market bringing an influx of new residents. Within ACMR’s boundaries, there is a rapidly growing population of first-time home buyers, families, seniors, and pets.
Join our community
As many concerned citizens, we maintain a strong interest in the planning and development of this beautiful city. ACMR will be another bridge to engage with municipal decision-makers on local development projects.
More grassroots organizations will only create more opportunities for public education and engagement.

New Developments
ACMR will meet to discuss resident concerns on new development projects within the City. After our meetings, we will post our findings and recommendations.
Most importantly, it’s YOUR voice that matters. We will conduct regular surveys of our membership to get your feedback on each project we review and reflect your opinions to related City officials and developers of projects.
